Our experience was PHENOMENAL! We will for sure be back. I highly recommend and this has been the best restaurant I have been to in the area so far. The food was delicious and full of flavor. It was cooked to perfection and it was beautifully plated. It was so fun to try new things that I haven’t before such a cheeses, wild game, elk, and veggies. The atmosphere was so amazing. It was gorgeous and the hanging leaves and plants were so magical. The lighting made it even more beautiful. And don’t even get me started on our waiter. Tod was INCREDIBLE. He was very attentive to our table and explained things throughly to us. We came to celebrate my graduation from massage school and opening of my new business La Belle Apotheca in Lexington. Tod kept the party going and made the occasion feel so special! If you are looking for a new place to try I would highly highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back and try even more off of the menu.
OMG…beautiful atmosphere! I was nervous about trying game meat for the first time but I loved the elk. Seasoned to perfection!! Duo ribs specifically the boar…was everything! Super tender and flavorful! Hands down Micheal was the best server/waiter ever. Everything he recommended from the food to drinks was top tier!! Will definitely return and I must sit in Michael’s section 🥰
Beautiful anniversary celebration at The Hollow! The outdoors indoors atmosphere was rustic, cozy and elegant. Logan was so kind and attentive and the food… the food was made to savor. Gorgeous in presentation and overflowing with flavor. We loved watching the hard working chefs in the kitchen and loved their shirts! Thank you for a great evening.
We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our first time experience at The Hollow! The dining atmosphere was chill with a great vibe. The food was absolutely amazing…flavorful and full of depth. We ordered the Smoked Duck Wings, Seared Sea Scallops, Wild Alligator Bites, Stuffed Prawn Heads, and the Wild Game Tasting Board. We were full and left with To Go boxes. The cocktails were also delicious! Michael, our server, provided excellent customer service too. We will definitely be back!
A co-worker suggested this restaurant when he found out we would be in town, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in on a warm, rainy Monday evening and we were greeted with a friendly smile and shown to a table. The wait staff served with a smile and great conversation. We were never rushed in our time there and waters were refilled on a timely basis. All of the food we ordered was perfectly flavored and delicious! From the appetizers to the main meal-we left full and happy! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! We will definitely suggest this place to others! @kplusds
Haven’t had this great of a meal in a long time. Michael, our server was fantastic, told us about the menu and what his recommendations were, we started with the huckleberry drink and runaway bride which were fantastic paired with the wild game board which was absolutely amazing. For wonder my wife had the elk Bolognese which was awesome and I had the Venison Wellington which was absolutely to die for. We ended the night with another huckleberry and Hugo sprits. All and all this was a fantastic date night and highly recommend!
Had the Venice Wellington was absolutely fantastic. I have had Gordon Ramsays Beef Wellington and I can say this one was way better. Had Annaliese as our waitress she did an awesome job. Also ordered elk filet at medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and the risotto was the best. Seared scallops were also great. As drinks go the pink parrot punch was great (according to my wife) the smoked old fashioned and the Hollow were great.
We were looking for a decent place to eat in Columbia when I came across the Hollow. I saw it had over 2000 reviews with a ranking of 4.9 stars! Really I thought! I read some of the reviews and liked what I read and looked at the menu and thought that looked good as well. We went there for my birthday, my wife and I. We were greeted with happy, welcoming faces, and good attitudes. We were seated within five minutes or so, and were waited on by Logan. My wife chose the pistachio crusted trout, and I had the seafood pasta. We also had the beet carpaccio, which neither of us have ever had before and both found it to be wonderful. We absolutely loved our meals. Definitely healthy servings, but not incredibly oversized. Taste and presentation of the food was excellent. Logan‘s attention to our table was spot on, checking on us often, but not being intrusive. The meal and the establishment left quite an impression on us and insured that we will definitely come back during our next visit to Columbia.
Amazing dinner at the Hollow. It was our first time and we will certainly be back. Logan was our server and he was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive! The whipped feta and stuffed prawn appetizers were incredible. We really enjoyed our entrees as well (smoked chicken and venison Wellington). And the strawberry dessert was the perfect ending!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience celebrating two birthdays at The Hollow! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a special night out. The menu offers a truly unique selection, the wild game dishes were unlike anything I’ve ever tried before, and every bite was incredible. On top of the outstanding food, our server, Kennedy, was an absolute gem! She made sure our double birthday celebration felt extra special and well taken care of from start to finish. If you're looking for great food, excellent service, and something refreshingly different in Columbia, I couldn't recommend The Hollow more. We’ll definitely be back!
